IT Recruiter or Sr IT Recruiter

The primary responsibility of the recruiter is to make placements/closures against a given client requirement for IT professionals in the Indian job market. He/She is responsible for identifying and screening/evaluating qualified candidates for an open position with a client. The recruiter is expected to understand the IT People requirements of the client companies sent by the account managers and find the consultants who satisfy those requirements and ensure the placements for the assigned requirements.

Job Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Should be capable enough to understand the requirements assigned by accounts managers.
  • Use appropriate search keys to generate resumes from various job portals in minimum span of time.
  • Evaluate resumes on the basis of the requirements /skill sets as per JD / specified by accounts managers.
  • Interacting with prospective candidates through telephonic /email conversation to explain in detail about the vacant position and the skill sets required.
  • Accessing the candidates technical and communication skills.
  • Using the pre defined questioners to access the genuineness of the consultant in terms of experience, pay etc.
  • Knowledge of different technologies and terminology of the software development environment.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple work assignments, work with less supervision and work well under pressure.
  • Good negotiation and convincing skills.
  • Submit the valid resumes to accounts manager.
  • Coordinate with the consultant and the account manager for scheduling interview.
  • Following up on the interview process status.
  • Completing the paper work if the consultant has been selected.
